Mary Ann Demps

Mary Ann Demps, age 69 of Flint, MI passed away March 29, 2026. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 10, 2026 at Greater Galilee Baptist Church 4418 Industrial Ave., Flint, MI 48505. Family hour will begin at 10:30 AM at the church. Family will receive visitors Thursday, April 9, from 12:00-4:30 PM at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Pastor Jamar Pittman officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Mary was joined in marriage to Napoleon Demps Jr. at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church August 11, 1979. Mary was a member of Greater Galilee Baptist Church for 43 years. She was employed in the Flint Community School system for 20 years in food service, then as a bus driver and custodian. Mary had a passion for photography and loved to take the pictures for all the family and church functions. She was a life long fan of Alabama University Football team (Roll Tide) ! Mary is survived by her husband Napoleon Demps Jr., sons Napoleon Demps III and wife Candace, Darrius Demps, sister Eleazier Redwine Banks, brother John Henry Redwine, sister-in-law Susan Redwine, brother-in-law Kevin Banks Sr., special cousin Michelle Belk and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her parents Ervin and Mary Lizzie "Hardnett" Redwine, sisters Betty, Katie and Janie, brothers Eric, Ervin, Samuel and Willie.
