Mary Depew Obituary
Mary Jane Depew, a life-long resident of Gray, TN, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2025.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elsie Mae (Edwards) Watts; her husband, Lowell Depew; four sisters; two brothers; daughter-in-law, Lawanda Depew; and son-in-law, Jacky Hawk.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Dr. Danny Depew; daughter, Pat Hawk and Allen Depew; grandchildren, Austin Hawk (Brandy) and Whitney Hawk; great-grandchildren, Hunter Hawk, Cadence Hawk and Hazel Hawk; brother, Jack Watts and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025, in the chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Blountville. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. with Dr. Danny Depew officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, in the Garden of Avenue of Flags at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Robert Fultz.
Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Hawk, Joey Hurd, Allen Depew and Hunter Hawk.
Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes is honored to serve the family of Mary Jane Depew.
