Mary A. (Sacchetti) Deware, of Marshfield formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Roger L. Deware. Loving mother to Kristen Fox and husband Paul of Pembroke and Scott Deware and wife Andrea of Marshfield. Adored grandmother, affectionately known as "Noni", will be greatly missed by her seven grandchildren: Olivia, Victoria, Isabella, Nicholas, Connor, Morgan, and Tomas.
Mary worked at Citizens Bank, formerly known as Quincy Savings Bank for many years before retiring from the mortgage department. After retiring, she enjoyed many days and nights babysitting her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Mary also enjoyed taking day trips to both Foxwoods and Twin Rivers with her cousins and friends. She enjoyed knitting and sewing and made many handmade items for her family. She loved watching court TV, especially Judge Judy and curling up with a good crime novel. She loved to travel and enjoyed visiting places such as Italy and Iceland. Mary always had a good story to tell and filled it with humor, enthusiasm and her feisty spirit.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at the MacDonald Funeral Home in Marshfield, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. for an hour of visitation, followed by a funeral procession to St. Christine Parish Church where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
