Mary Ann Dick

Mary Ann Dick, 94, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Born April 3, 1931 in rural Sedalia, she was the daughter of the late Albert T. and Verla Jones Dick.
She is survived by a sister, Jean Almquist of Sedalia; two nephews, David Dick of Sedalia, and Kevin (Suzanne) Almquist of Omaha, Nebraska; two nieces, Donna (Rick) Rosenbaum of Overland Park, Kansas, and Denise Almquist of Sedalia; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Dick; and a sister, Betty Jo Dick.
Miss Dick was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Chapel. She worked as a secretary with AAA Travel, Town & Country Shoe Factory, Pettis County Clerk's office, and County (Budweiser) Distributing Company, from where she retired. She was a great caretaker of many family members and was known as a beloved aunt. She was well known for her Christmas holiday goodies, and had a noted green thumb with flowers.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Chapel, with Fr. Joe Corel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia, with Jude Almquist, Grant Almquist, Liam Almquist, Sam Rosenbaum, David Withers, and Hunter Grose serving as pallbearers. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 5:30 P.M. Thursday, November 13 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, with visitation following until 8:00 P.M. Memorials are suggested to the Sacred Heart Foundation or the charity of your choice in care of the funeral chapel.
