I knew Peggy since l was a little boy. She was a good friend of my parents , and was always alot of fun. She had a great dry sense of humor , and was always interested in what l and my brothers , and sister were doing. She was a very interesting lady. As an example , she was on the original commitee for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. She was also the Director of Elementary Education , for the Penn Hills School District. Her office was in the old Hebron School. When l would see her in the halls when l was student there she would smile at me and give me a wink. She loved jazz and reading , also working outside in her yard. I enjoyed the time l spent with her helping her with chores around her home. She also had great love of Pittsburgh history , and l learned much from her stories about the region. I will miss her , she was quite a lady.
