Mary Farrell Dobard

On Thursday, February 15, 2024, our beloved mom and grandmother died peacefully in Springfield, MO. Mary was a native of New Orleans and lived in Springfield over the last 40 years.
Mary had a zest for life and loved to travel. Her faith and family were paramount in her daily life. Mary's family asked that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life and not the sadness of her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dennis Paul Dobard Sr., along with her parents, Lovie Augusta Bartley Farrell and John Miller Farrell, and siblings, Anna Farrell Grosz (Alden), John Miller Farrell Jr. (Anne), Patricia Farrell Grosz (Alden), Lovie Augusta Harrison (John), Florence Farrell Barrosse (Ellwood), David Farrell, Erma Farrell Schambach (Harold), Marcella Farrell Douglas, and Bartley Farrell.
Surviving family members include sons, Dennis Paul Dobard Jr. (Sharon) and Gregory Farrell Dobard (Therese); grandchildren, Sarah, Hanna, John (Katherine) and Olivia (Alex); and sister-in-law, Shirley (Bartley, deceased).
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation and mass on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until mass at noon. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
