Mary Frances Dudley, age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Jackson Hospital. She was loved by so many and affectionately known as Sister Frances, Mama, and Granny.

She was born in Blountstown, Florida in 1936 to W.C Cook and Sarah Cook. She was called into ministry at the young age of 14 while in the tuberculosis hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. She was miraculously healed at a tent revival held by Oral Roberts in Jacksonville shortly thereafter. This began a lifelong journey as a pastor, evangelist, and servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In 1995, she was the founding pastor of the Lighthouse Community Church in Marianna, Florida, which she served faithfully until she was called home.

To know Sister Frances was to know love, compassion, and grace. Every person she met, she told them that she loved them, and you knew she meant it.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. Cook and Sarah Cook (Goodwin); four brothers, Hershel, Claude, Alvin, and Charles Cook; two sisters, Louise Lollie and Ruby Edenfield.

Frances is survived by her loving son, Terry Dudley and wife, Stacey of Chipley, FL; grandchildren, Josh Dudley and wife, Aaron; Jessica Bradley and husband, Logan; Paige Carter, Gauge Carter and wife, Allie Ann; great grandchildren, Asher, Abel, and Ava Jewel Bradley. Emersyn, Isla Kate, and Callie Grace Dudley. Anslie and Ansten Roulhac, Goldie French, as well as Hattie Faye Carter all of whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be at 11 A.M., Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Sneads Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bill Mayo and Josh Dudley officiating. Interment will take place at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens following the service with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at Sneads Assembly of God.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lambe Family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
