Mary Alice Eckley

Mary Alice Eckley, age 80, of Muir, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026. Mary was born on May 22, 1945, in Sheridan, MI, the daughter of Richard and Alberta (Spain) Spencer. On February 13, 1965, she married the love of her life, Roger Eckley.

Mary is survived by her husband, Roger, children, Tammy (Bill) Clements, Sherry (Craig) Rohn, Roger (Nichole) Eckley, James Eckley (Cynthia Chapin), honorary son and daughter, Duc Le and Thu Nguyen, brother, Billy (Lil) Spencer, sister, Nancy Moore, grandchildren, Nicole (Chris) White, Curtis (Jess) Osborne, Shanna Eckley, Jason (Erika) Eckley, Leslie Mayo, Zack (Grace) Eckley, Andrew Eckley, Scarlette Eckley, Trammie Le (Claudiu) Casianov and Bevin Le, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, Texas family and the most precious dog, Buddy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alberta Spencer, brother, Bobby Spencer, In-laws, Howard and Anna Eckley, Joyce (Gaylord) DeBoer, Stanley Eckley, Walter and Wanda Eckley, Dorothy and Ron Fletcher, Don Moore, niece, Bobbie Moore, special friends, Merrill and Dorothy Payment and many Texas friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Restore Church in Ionia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, (10AM-11AM).
