Mary K. Edgin, 87, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away December 16, 2025. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on May 16, 1938, to the late Charles Small and Alice Johnson. She attended Vincennes University, where she met her husband, Olan Wayne Edgin. She married him on September 26, 1957, and he preceded her in death. Mary continued her education at a business college. She later found love again with Forrest Lee "Frosty" Edgin, and they were married on July 2, 1994. Mary worked for many years as a cashier with Central Hardware Store and Niehaus Lumber before retiring. She attended Wabash Community Church. In her free time, Mary enjoyed embroidery, solving word search puzzles, playing Yahtzee, going to the casino with Frosty, and taking care of her family and Frosty. Mary will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her father Charles Small; mother Alice Johnson; husband Olan Edgin; infant daughter Vicky Edgin; granddaughter Shannon Edgin; siblings Edra Sherrard, Suzanne Bendall, Donna Strahley.
Mary is survived by her husband, of 31 years, Forrest "Frosty" Edgin; daughters Cindy (Kenny Like) Edgin, Cheryl (Hugh) Conklin, Sandy Ball; step-children Ernie Edgin, Mark Edgin, Bob (Tracy) Edgin, Orlinda Edgin; 11 grandchildren; sister Joyce Stockton; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Edgin. Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, at 524 Broadway Street from 11 am to 1 pm. The Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1 pm with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery following immediately.
