I have a lot of childhood memories of my greataunt Mayme and her witty candid humor. Although I have not seen her for a long time, I will miss her. In 1998, I framed the Sunday, November 22, 1998 article (front page pp. A1 and A20) of The Washington Post, " A Family's Story of Love, Labor And Longevity." It has been on different walls of my home since 2 weeks after the article was published. It is quite a conversation peace of how Aunt Mayme and her beloved husband Uncle Robert met, worked, and raised their family. So I find myself quite often talking to my friends and visitors about Aunt Mayme. My condolences to the immediate family and all other family members. May she rest in peace.

Take Comfort in knowing that Jesus said to her i am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.

John 11:25-26

Aunt Mayme and I've always loved and respected her. She was a "Bright Jewel" in the Crown. May God give you loving comfort and keep you in His care.
