Stillwater, Minnesota - Mary (Hajlo) Erickson 12/24/53-4/22/25 Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, after a long illness. Survived by loving husband of 48 years, Leonard, son Colonel Theodore Erickson (Diana), U.S. Air Force, and grandchildren Ryan and Marissa; siblings Sue Lundholm, Pam (Joe) Baber, Michael (Gwen) Hajlo, Teri (Kevin) McCloughan, Judy (Mike) Schwartz, Nancy (Greg) Johnson, and Robert (Monica) Hajlo; in-laws Terry (Therese) Erickson, Candy (Bill) Butcher, Larry (Darla) Erickson, Jean Erickson, Beth Erickson, Rick (Mickie) Erickson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents John and Bernice Hajlo, in-laws Theodore and Virginia Erickson and Judy and Ed Zick. Mary devoted many happy hours to creating beautiful quilts and donated them to veterans, schools, churches, homeless shelters, and NICU's. Her quilts were cherished gifts to family and friends, much like her mother Bernice's crocheted blankets. Mary and her family, formerly of Boise ID, enjoyed many camping trips together, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mary's life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial on May 2, 2025, 10:30 a.m. at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Oakdale, MN. Mary was a very dear friend and was very supportive when I decided to try my had at quilt making. She was extremely patient with my many errors as I endeavored to become at least 20% as capable as she. I will forever have loving memories of her and her limitless energy. Len and Ted, accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Erickson. She was a kind lady who was so artistic. She and my mom made a class quilt when Ted and myself were in the 8th grade. She will be missed. Cheers to a life well lived and loved. Beth (Maw) Groninga

I knew Mary when we both worked at Bishop Kelly High School in Boise. I can still hear her wonderful laugh.
Her devotion to Len, Ted, and her Catholic faith were an inspiration to me. My three grandchildren all have one of her beautiful quilts.
My condolences to Len, Ted and her family.
