Mary K. Fanelli
Mary K. Fanelli, age 63, died in Erie, PA after a long illness. She suffered a number of strokes
several years ago and continued to have cardio-pulmonary complications thereafter.
She was born in New Rochelle, NY to the late Thomas, Sr., and Sally Fanelli. She married
Anthony (Tony) Mennillo in 2003. He preceded her in death in 2011. Mary K. worked as a title examiner in Westchester County, NY, and at times as a waitress in Westchester and Erie County. She was a frequent visitor to Union City, PA, to stay with her beloved sister, Jeanne Vallimont and her husband Patrick.
Mary K. is survived by her siblings, Tom Fanelli, Jr., Jude Lemke (Fred), Sara Fanelli, Bill Fanelli (Anne), Steve Fanelli, and Keith Fanelli (Patty), and several nieces nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother in law, Jeanne Vallimont and Patrick Vallimont; her brother, George Fanelli; her brother in law, Terry Haterius, and her stepsons, Christopher, Glenn, and Gregory.
Mary K. was the social center of every gathering. Her infectious smile charmed everyone that she met. She will be missed by family and friends alike.
Interment is private. A memorial will be held for her in early 2025 in Westchester County, NY where she spent most of her life. If you wish, please make donations in her memory to your favorite charity that provides support to those with drug and alcohol addiction or mental health issues.
