Mary Frances Jones Farris, age 91, passed away on June 21, 2024. She was born on July 21, 1932, to the late Andrew Jones and Mamie "Smith" Jones.
She is preceded in death by husband, Ernest L. Farris; parents, Andrew and Mamie "Smith" Jones; daughter, Sherry Brown; one brother, Charles Jones; and two sisters, Dora Mae Hawks, and Irene Bishop.
Mary Frances is survived by her children, Connie (Shelby) Barnes, and Gail (Ron) Phillips; grandchildren, Wendy Barker, Shelaena Wix, Caleb (Joanna) Wix, Ethan (Whitley) Barnes, Lloyd (Laura) Brown, Jared (Heather) Barnes and Adam Barnes; 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Florence Hall.
Funeral service for Ms. Farris will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 1pm at Woodard Funeral Home with Brother Doyle Farris officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 10am until service time at 1pm. Interment will follow in the Sumner Memorial Gardens.
The family has entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the arrangements of their loved one. "Serving you as we would like to be served."
