Mary Alice Fox, a treasured member of her community, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, just shy of her 79th birthday. Born on May 9, 1946, Mary lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to her family and friends.
Mary was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and godmother. Her role as the church mother for New Comforter Family Church highlighted her caring nature and her deep commitment to the ministry of helps. She provided guidance and support to many, embodying the spirit of love and kindness that she so often preached.
A vibrant personality, Mary had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. She cherished the youth of her community and devoted much of her time to mentoring and uplifting them. An avid lover of music, she delighted in dancing and singing, often sharing her joy through her performances. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing the drums and engaging in friendly games with her loved ones.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life during a viewing on May 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas. A funeral service will be held on May 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at New Comforter Family Church, located at 1800 E. Illinois Dallas, Texas 75216
