MARY JIM RUSSELL FOX Mary Jim Russell Fox passed away on November 6, 2025, in Nocona, Texas, at the age of 89. She was born on September 28, 1936, to Leonard and Lola Russell in Nocona. After graduating from Prairie Valley High School, she married Clarence Whitsett. After Clarence's passing, she married Jack Fox. Mary loved to cook and care for her family and was an excellent seamstress. After her children were in school, she went to work for Mineral Wells ISD as an aide in the early childhood development program and worked for over 20 years before retiring. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, and her brother Roger Russell of Nocona. She is survived by her children Kim Koontz and husband Ken of Nocona, Scotty Whitsett and wife Yester of Mineral Wells, Brent Fox and wife Tena of North Richland Hills, and Lonny Fox of Lubbock; grandson Dustin Koontz; granddaughters Yari Kemp and husband Landon, Lauren Foxz and Kate Fox; great grandson Kian Kemp; sister in-law Jeaton Russell, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
