Mary A. Frye

Mary A. Frye, age 71 of Lima, passed at 4:55 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at St. Rita's Mercy Health. She was born December 9, 1954 in St. Mary's, Ohio to the late Donald Lee and Wanda Lee Wurster Rogers.
Mary was a devoted caregiver, faith-filled woman, and loving presence to those who knew her. She worked as a nurse's aide at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta, where she cared for others with compassion.
In her free time, Mary found joy in sewing, crocheting, and reading. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she enjoyed attending church and living out her beliefs each day. Those closest to her will fondly remember that Mary could be a little ornery at times-a trait that added to her charm and brought smiles to many.
She is survived by a daughter – Amanda L. (finance' Jonathon Robinson) Noe of Lima; a son; 2 grandchildren; and a sister – Barbara Solis of Brownsville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters – Kathy Sanchez, Beverly Jean Martinico, and Sandra Tirado; and an infant brother who died at 9 months.
A celebration of Mary's life will be at a later date.
