Mary M. Germany, a beloved daughter, devoted mother, treasured grandmother, and cherished sister, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia, at the age of 72. Born on August 1, 1952, in Harlem, Georgia, she was the daughter of Blondell and Johnson Germany.
Mary dedicated herself to her work, retiring as a Housekeeping Supervisor from the Eisenhower Army Medical Center, where her dedication and commitment were deeply appreciated by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. Her straightforward nature and quiet strength served as a guiding light not only in her career but also in her personal life. Mary showed immense love to those closest to her, forging a bond that will echo in their hearts forever.
She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Angela Milledge; her cherished grandchildren, Devante (Khadeja) Germany, Javada Germany, Ty'yanna Milledge, and Donovan Milledge; and her adored great-grandchildren, Braylon, Bailee, Blu, and Syven. Mary's family extends to her dear sister, Patricia Germany, and her brothers, Willie White and Roosevelt Bennett, in addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched profoundly.
Mary is joined in eternal rest by her beloved parents, Blondell and Johnson Germany, and her brothers Sylvester Germany, Sr., John Germany, Johnson Germany, and David White, along with her sister, Mary Kent. These family ties created a tapestry of love that has shaped Mary's identity and legacy.
Her memory will be honored during visitation on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, GA. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens & Chapel in Grovetown, GA.
As we reflect on Mary’s life, we remember her warmth, resilience, and the unwavering love she shared. Though she has departed from our sight, her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.
