Mary C. Giordano

Mary C. Giordano, 84, of Kenosha, Wisc., passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Charter Senior Living.

Born on July 24, 1941, in Chippewa Falls, Wisc., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rosamond (Le Barron) Marek. She attended local schools graduating from Cadott High School in 1959. She then graduated in 1960 from the Milwaukee Accredited Beauty School.

Over the years, she continued her coursework within the University of WI system to be able to instruct beauty school.

On July 13, 1963, she married Eugene Giordano in Madison, Wisc. He preceded her in death in May of 2008.

Mary was employed by Gateway Technical College as a cosmetology instructor until her retirement in June of 1998. She was instrumental in the success of her students traveling to Chicago and winning national awards.

She was a proud member of the Birthday Club, composed of close friends and co-workers. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, cleaning, investing, spending time with her friends, and family, especially her grandchildren.

One of her greatest well-known passions was baking and cooking Italian food. She took pleasure in the simple things in life, like baking with her grandchildren.

She also instilled a love of travel, music, and the arts in her children. She was an incredibly hard worker, who had a huge heart, full of compassion and humility.

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Gina (James) Bilotti of Pleasant Prairie, Wisc., and Judy Giordano of Wauwatosa, Wisc.; three grandchildren, Ava Bilotti, Gino Bilotti, and Brianna Stevens; one great-grandson, Jacob Stevens; and one sister, Rita Chartrand of Eau Claire, Wisc.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Judy Huffcutt; and one brother, John Marek.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice Alliance and Charter Senior Living for the dedicated and compassionate care and friendships that they provided Mary with the last year of her life.

A memorial gathering will be celebrated on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Casa Capri Restaurant, 2129 Birch Road, Kenosha, WI, 53140, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ronald McDonald House of Southeastern WI, or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated by the family.
