Mary Goad Obituary
Mary Jo was born April 26, 1941, in Manila, Arkansas, to Earl and Margaret (Moore) Goad. A seamstress by trade, she had been a resident of Hardee County for the past five years after relocating from Tampa, Florida. She was of the Protestant faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, James Arthur Rogers.
Mary is survived by her children: James Matthew Rogers of Tampa, Florida, and Anita Rogers of Wauchula, Florida; grandchildren Sarah Chinchilla, Travis Rogers, Ashley Liu, Austin Rogers, Rachael Rodriguez, and Betheney Griffin; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
