Mary Marie Graeter, 64, passed away in her home, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was born on October 8, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, to her late parents, Sarah and James E. Lewis.
Mary was a winner, a master of bingo, and an avid bowler. Above all, she was a loving wife of 36 years, a loving mother, and a grandmother. She cherished every moment she spent with her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Isabella Graeter; and sisters, Carolyn and Edna Rae Lewis.
Mary is survived by her husband, Mike Graeter; children, Michael Searcy (Brooke), Ashley Graeter, Leesa Graeter, and Michael C. Graeter (Stacy); grandchildren, Courtney, Steven, Mason, Aiden, Harley, Jaxson, Ethan, Madison, and Kai; brothers, Eddie and Jerry Lewis; and sisters, Cathy Combest, Barbara Baskerville, and Betty Cox.
Her services will be held at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. The Visitation will be on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 12:00-8:00 PM. The funeral service will be the following day at noon, with burial to follow, at Beth Haven Cemetery.

The first time I met Mary, what I remember most is Mary was a kind gentle soul and she was so shy, she had a willing Heart of Giving .she loved her Children! I am sure the angels welcomed her home and heaven rejoiced.
