Mary Green Obituary
She was a woman of great faith and a faithful servant of the lord. She loved caring for her animals and helping anyone she could. She loved to sew and crochet, garden, and spend time with her family. Louise graduated with her LPN and worked for Twin County Regional Hospital as an OB nurse for over 30 years. Her unwavering spirit of kindness and love will be remembered by all who knew her. Her favorite verse was John 3:16 " For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son and that whoever should believe in him shall not parish but have everlasting life"
She is survived by her children, daughter in law Marie Payne of Myrtle Beach, SC; son Wayne Green and wife Barbara of Bluefield, WV; daughter Vanessa Bryant and husband Rick of Bluefield, WV; son Gary Green of Bluefield WV; son Allen Green of Bluefield, WV. 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Special Sister-in-law Brenda Green. Special friends Jimmy and Mary Harmon.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Twin County Regional Hospital during her last days. We would also like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice and a special thank you to her hospice nurse, Michelle. We will always be grateful for the care and instant love you gave her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Bishops Chapel United Methodist Church 2179 Poplar Knob Rd, Galax, VA. Burial to follow at graveside of Bishops Chapel.
