Grand Coteau- A visitation will be held for Mary Ann Latiolais Hall on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Coteau. Burial will be at a later date.
Mary Ann, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. Born on December 18, 1938, in Sunset, Louisiana, Mary Ann graced the world with her warm spirit and love for her family.
Throughout her life, Mary Ann was known for the special person she was, radiating kindness and compassion to all who knew her. Her dedication to her family was palpable, and she nurtured those relationships with an unwavering commitment, always making time for her children and grandchildren.
Mary Ann is survived by her three devoted children: Timothy Miller (Melanie) of Carencro, Louisiana; Blaine Miller of Carencro, Louisiana, and Mona Miller Ward (Tim) of Arnaudville Louisiana. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Danielle Miller Williams (Blaine), great grandson, Riley Rollins, brother, Randy Latiolais (Amanda), who brought great joy to her life. Additionally, her brother-in-law Allen Matte will carry fond memories of his sister-in-law.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Iris Jagneaux Latiolais, and by her first husband, Hilman J. Miller and second husband, Alfred F. Hall, Jr. She was also preceded by her brothers, James W. Latiolais , and Joe Latiolais , her sister, Loretta Matte, all of whom she missed dearly.
Mary Ann's legacy of love will continue through her family, as they honor her memory and the values she instilled in them. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a devoted friend, and a shining light in the lives of those she touched. Her spirit will remain in the hearts of many, and she will be dearly missed.
