Dear Family, All of you are in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days to come. I was blessed to know her, and have my office beside the Literacy Center for 15 years. She helped so many people, and we shared lunch as well. Hugs to Melissa

Joyce and I were in the same class. I remember she was a twirler. Years later she taught my Daughter to twirl. Her passions were teaching and helping others. She received an award from the Masonic Lodge for her dedication to the Literacy Council. Our community is a better place because of Joyce Hammers. RIP
