Mary Helms Obituary
The visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy, York, SC 29745. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel immediately after the visitation.
Cis was born on December 22, 1944 in York, SC. She was the daughter of the late Hiram Jefferson "Hoke" Cameron and Mary Virginia "Jenny" Dunlap Cameron and the widow of Bill Helms. She was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church.
Cis is survived by her daughter, Beth Carpenter; her grandchildren, Jake Carpenter, Leah Carpenter; and her sister-in-law, Norma Cameron.
In addition to her parents and husband, Cis was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty "Bet" Miskelly and James "Jim" Hiram Cameron, along with her brother-in-law, Jim Miskelly.
In memory of Ms. Cis Helms, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
