Mary P. Hogan, of Wanaque, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. A woman of grace and warmth, Mary left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She lived most of her life in Deer Park, NY., before moving to Wanaque, NJ.
Throughout her life, Mary embraced the roles of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, fostering deep connections with her family. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Eileen A. Bruno, who cherished and admired her strength and kindness. Her legacy will be carried on by her granddaughter, Andrea Peck, and her husband Brian, along with her beloved great-grandchildren, Justin and Kendal Peck, and Angelica Manseau. Also surviving are Serena McGee, and her brother, John Flahive and his wife Lilly.
Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry C. Kohlmeyer, and later husband, Frank R. Hogan. She was also preceded in death by her son, Harry Kohlmeyer, and grandson, Lloyd Manseau, who remain cherished in the memories of those who loved them.
In honoring Mary’s memory, visitation will take place on February 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. This will be followed by a funeral service on February 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM, also at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home. The burial will occur at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY, at 2:30 PM on the same day.
Mary P. Hogan's gentle spirit and unwavering love will remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
