It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Ellen Holobaugh on April 10, 2025, at the age of 79. Mary was born on November 26, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio, to Wilbur and Gertrude Huffman.
Mary met the love of her life Terry Holobaugh of 47 years. The two of them enjoyed a wonderful life together that included an annual trip to Topsail Island, NC, with the kids. Mary had a great love for her Lord and all her family. Prior to moving to Utica, the family lived in Victorian Village where Mary attended services at West Second Presbyterian Church. Mary later served as a Deacon and Elder.
There was nothing she loved more than her sunshine Amy & Teresa, granddaughter Maddi, who she called her birthday present, and visits from her great grandson, Zayden, who she affectionately called little dude. Mary adored the time she had with all her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and encouraged them all to join in holiday celebrations. It was important to Mary to have the family together and to create lasting memories.
Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother & Father, Wilbur & Gertrude Huffman, her daughters Dani & Anni Duff, sister Linda Cantor, and brother Mark Huffman.
Survived by: beloved husband Terry Holobaugh; loving children Teresa Holobaugh & Chet Browning, Amy & Rick Hanson, Heidi & Jason Dennis, Shawn & Karen Holobaugh, Chad & Autumn Holobaugh; siblings Rodney & Cindy Huffman, Judy & David Block, and many loving grandchildren (Chelsey, Justin, Cati, Nick, Parker, Makenzie, Maddi, Chris, Ricky, Jeramy, Caroline, Teri, Lucas, Olivia, Darcy, Taylor, Jason, Morgan), great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
