Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hunt, 86, went to her heavenly home on January 25, 2026. Mary lived a long and happy life; she loved making people laugh and anytime you saw her she would always give you a gift from the crafts she made. Though she may be gone, her unbreakable spirit will live on in our hearts. We will cherish the memories we shared forever.

Mrs. Hunt was born September 8, 1939, in Roberson County, NC to the late Jim Jones and Bessie Jones. She worked and retired from JP Stevens. Mary greatest accomplishment was her family. When she wasn't spending time with family her favorite passion was making quilt's and doing crafts, such as coloring, making Jewelry, if you didn't find her at the sewing machine, she was shopping and getting her nails done, which she loved to do.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband James Hunt, Son Jerry Hunt, Daughter Linda Locklear, Two Brothers Boo Jones, Earl Jones.
