In memory of
Frank Kelleher
November 23, 2008
I always looked forward to my Costco experience when I knew that Mary would be working. The last time I saw her, she came over and gave me a great big hug and told me how happy she was to see me.
Friday, I was thinking of Mary when I walked into Costco. When I did not see her, I wondered if she was a victim of the economy. On my way out of the store, I saw a makeshift memorial to her. Learning of her death was devastating.
Mary was a beautiful, kind, gentle lady, whose smile was enough to brighten even the gloomiest day!
My deepest sympathy to her family! She will be missed.

Mary's kindness, sincerity, and world-class smile gave the Costco shopping experience the feel of shopping in a little country store, where they knew your name, and cared about your life. For the seeming decades that I have known Mary, I always chose to get in her checkout line, no matter a longer wait. I am so happy that she was able to vote for Obama, and experience the thrill and joy of his victory, before she passed on. If there is a heaven, Mary is there, rooting for us to join her.
love and sadness,

I worked with Mary for almost 6 years in the 90s at Costco. When I saw the Obituary in the paper, I was taken back and saddened by the news.
I cannot tell you how I really enjoyed working with her. She always spoke with kindness and most of all.... she always had a smile on her face. Even after the years of coming in now as a customer, Mary always remembered my name and spoke with that wonderful smile.
I many times wonder as to why we haveto suffer a great loss... howevcer I feel in my heart, the kindness and love Mary showed everyone at Costco and the customers.... I feel GOD now has a very important mission for her to be with him now.
May GOD bless the family. Mary's body may have given up, however her mind and spirit did not. I will think of her everytime I walk into Costco.

We were saddened and shocked to hear of Mary's death while shopping at the warehouse today. She was one of our favorite people on the staff at Costco. We have known her since she worked at Price Club on Westmoreland. We would always
talk about having the same name. Her smiling face and her pleasant personality will certainly be missed.
