Mary C. Kehoe, 88 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Stonehill Health Center after a brief illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Saint Raphael Cathedral with Fr. Andy Upah officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at 9:00 a.m. at the church until time of Mass. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, Dubuque, Iowa is assisting the family.

Mary was born on March 16, 1937, in Dubuque, the daughter of Russell and Fannie (Mahoney) Evans. She married Robert "Bob" Kehoe on September 29, 1956, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church. She worked for Flexsteel for many years until her retirement.

She was a member of Saint Raphael Cathedral and the Lodge of the Leakeys.

Mary enjoyed playing Euchre and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Some of her favorite times were spent at the cabin in Bellevue and Christmas, especially her last Christmas with all her family.

Mary is survived by her three daughters: Kay (Tim) Hancock, Khris (Mike) Rettenmeier and Kelly (Tom) Kunnert; and son-in-law Ron Billmeyer. Her grandchildren Jason (Keely) Billmeyer, Carisa (Drew) Noel, Josh Billmeyer, Tyler (Jennifer) Billmeyer, Danielle (Joe) Sarazin, Raquel (Ryan) Burbach, Rachel (Mark) Hagedorn, Jake (Jody) Kunnert, and Robert Kunnert; great grandchildren, Joey, Ali, Louella, Owen, Oliver, Cody, Clay, Maddie, Norah, Lily, Gwen, Isla, Cale, Lane, Chase, Beau, and Tucker; her sister Biddy Ranstedt along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob; their daughter Kim Billmeyer; great grandson Ray Burbach, her brother Snooky Evans, and her mother-in-law Rose Kehoe.

Memorials may be given to Holy Family Dubuque Schools or Hospice of Dubuque.

Mary's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the emergency personnel, healthcare professionals, particularly Hospice of Dubuque, the clergy, and the many others who helped care for Mary. Your kindness and compassion will always be cherished and remembered.
