KELLY, Mary A. (Tarasavich), of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Kelly. Our mother was a kind and caring person who truly loved her children and always expressed her emotions to everyone around her. An avid painter and artist, she lived an amazing long life leaving us at the youthful age of 96(!). Born just 10 years after the end of World War I, she lived through the Great Depression, World War II, got married, had three successful sons, saw the birth of four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, traveled to different countries, and gave everyone she touched great memories. She had a flair for life always posing for pictures and her laughter would fill any room. We will miss her heartfelt hugs!
She is survived by her three sons, Normal Simard and his wife Ellen Simard, Luke Simard, Brian Kelly; her four grandchildren: Jacob, Neil and his wife Jennifer, Grace and her husband Justin, and Dave; as well as her two great grandchildren: Natalie and Benjamin.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation in Saint John's Church, 2254 Mass Ave, North Cambridge, on Saturday, February 15th from 9:30-10:30am. Her Funeral mass will be celebrated in the church at 11am, Burial to follow in Cambridge Cemetery.
