CARIBOU – Mary A. Ketch, 85, went to her eternal rest with the Lord on December 10, 2022, in Caribou. She was born in St. Francis, May 7, 1937, the daughter of Aurele and Suzanne (Ouellette) Lebel. Mary graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 1955. She married Kermit Ketch on November 30, 1957. Together they enjoyed nearly 40 years of marriage before his death in 1997. Mary worked at Birdseye Foods in Caribou before taking time off from work to raise their 5 children. Once the children were older, she returned to work – driving bus for the ACAP for 18 years.

Mary was a devoted member of the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church for 60 years; in that time, she was a CCD teacher and counted the collection money each week. Mary also volunteered at Cary Medical Center and in the Caribou High School nurse's office. Mary was very active in the lives of her children and grandchildren, coaching Little League and rarely missing any of their events. Mary enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family members, often playing cards and various games. For many years she also enjoyed traveling, bowling, and running the roads of Caribou.

Mary is survived by her children, Kim Ouellette and partner Andy of Caribou, Michael Ketch and wife Vicki of Presque Isle, Mark Ketch and wife Kimberley of Bradley, Timothy Ketch and partner Ana Ochoa of Palm Coast, FL, and Matthew Ketch and wife Amy of Milford; sisters Lucia Jandreau of Vero Beach, FL, and Verona Jandreau and husband Joel of Caribou; sisters-in-law, Odette Lebel and Brenda Ketch; grandchildren, Ashlee, Jessica, Jacob, Allison, Emily, and Abigail; step-grandchildren, Nicole, Natalie, and Bethany; step-great-grandchildren, Dennis, Keyton, Kayden, Kanan, and Rosae; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; a very special friend, Norma Haines as well as all of her card playing gals.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Ted Lebel and Corine Lebel and many special in-laws.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 6PM until 8PM at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
