Mary Kewan

Mary Kewan, age 79 of Rochester Hills formerly of Warren, passed away September 30, 2022. Loving wife of the late John Kewan, dear mother of Mary (Paul Brooks) Neumann and Deanna (Brent) Ritzke, cherished grandmother of Christopher Neumann, Ryan Neumann, Julia Brooks, Reid Ritzke, Eva Ritzke and Sawyer Ritzke, sister of John (Luba) Pashkevich, Lou (the late Darrell) Young, Katherine Pashkiewych, the late Julian Pashkevich, the late Walter (Emilia) Paszkiewicz and the late Anna Pashkiewych. Adoring aunt of Margie (David) Holmes, Johnny (Mary) Pashkevich, Darren (Annie) Carbone, Marlone (Michelle) Carbone, and the late Wally Cwikla. Beloved "adopted" grandmother to Lisa Marin.
Mary was a kind and gentle soul that loved her family more than anything. She did everything in her power to make others happy. Mary shared her famous pierogis with family and friends throughout the years and always had a smile and a hug ready. She adored her grandchildren as they were the light of her life. She would always teach them Ukrainian and quizzed them (and our significant others) on it regularly in good fun. She loved movies, especially sci-fi and old classics....and of course anything with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson! We take comfort that she's not hurting anymore, is reunited with her parents, whom she missed terribly, and dancing in heaven with her loving husband for all of eternity.
