Mary Therese Kilroy

Mary Therese Schmitt Kilroy, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away October 22, 2025.

Mary Therese is survived by her son Jack (Barb) and daughter Mary Ellen (Jeff); her grandchildren Jessica (Eric), Jeffrey, Audric (Catherine) and Riley; and her great-grandchildren Lydia, Kalliope and Sereia. She was a loving aunt and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances Trail Schmitt and Charles Schmitt, and by her husband of over 50 years, John "Jack" Kilroy.

Mary Therese and Jack built a beautiful life together, raising their family and running their business, Kilroy Aluminum. After Jack's passing, Mary Therese found companionship once again with her childhood friend, Glenn "Tom" Krippel. For the past 13 years, they shared a love of travel, especially their winters spent together in Florida and the many cruises they enjoyed side by side.

Mary Therese will be remembered for her devotion to family and the love she brought to every chapter of her life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor at 10:30 AM on Thursday October 30th at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141.
