Mary Lady Obituary
Mary was born on August 20, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Fred and Patty L. (Crouse) Brown. She married Michael Lady on June 4, 1983 in Lacon, IL. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2020. Also preceding her in death are her parents and her half-brother, Manuel Brown.
Surviving are her sons, Jerry Lady of Houston, TX, Michael (Amber) Lady of Chillicothe, IL and Jacob (Breanne Goertz) Lady of Bastrop, TX; four grandchildren, Faith, Rowen, Wren and Remi; her brother, Jerry (Donna) Brown on Williston, NC; her half-sister, Millie (Roger) Hanney of Sacramento, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary worked for Caterpillar for 30 years when she retired. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She also loved animals, especially her dogs.
Cremation rites will be accorded and burial of ashes will be held at a later date alongside her husband at Chillicothe City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
