Mrs. Mary Larson

Mary Lamb Larson passed away September 5, 2012 in Pasadena, TX. She was born March 16, 1930 in Pasadena, TX. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 21 years, Doug Larson, daughters Dianne Sovie, Debby Gonzales and husband Richard, Cynthia Blanchard and husband Mike, Jennifer Spiller and husband Ron, and one son Doug Larson Jr., 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, brother Sonny Boy Lamb, and sister Billie Lynn Myers. She is preceded in death by daughters Donna and Delores Chapman, a sister Bennie Marie Smith and one brother Henry Lamb, mother Bennie Belle Lamb and father Henry J. Lamb. Mary retired from Accounting with Stewart & Stephenson on April 1, 1994. She was very active in Golden Acres United Methodist Church for many years before her illness. Mary was a very compassionate and understanding person. She was loved by everyone she met. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Pasadena Funeral Chapel 2203 Pasadena Blvd. A Celebration of her life will be 10AM Monday September 10, 2012 at Hope Community Methodist Church, 2838 Lily, and Pasadena. In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to Hope Community UMC or the Lupus Foundation.
