Mary Elizabeth Leslie

Mary Elizabeth Leslie passed away peacefully in Las Vegas, NV, on January 10, 2026, at the age of 79, with her daughter at her side. 

Mary Elizabeth Leslie was born on May 28, 1946, in Oakland, CA, to Frederick and Corinne Leslie. Mary grew up in Oakland. After graduating from San Francisco State University, she worked for Pacific Bell, which later became Pacific Telesis, as an executive in their philanthropic division. Along the way Mary earned a Master’s Degree in management. In the 1990's, Pacific Telesis was acquired by SBC Communications and Mary transferred to San Antonio, TX, where she eventually retired. She then moved to Las Vegas to be close to her married daughter. 

In 1988, Mary adopted an infant baby from Ecuador. Elizabeth made Mary the mother she longed to be, which brought Mary much joy and love. She thoroughly loved raising Elizabeth. Mary became a grandmother when Elizabeth had children, who she absolutely adored.

In her younger years, Mary enjoyed traveling. She traveled through Europe for a year, taking a break from college. Mary traveled to Mexico and Hawaii a number of times with her mother and grandmother, Elizabeth. 

Mary was an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction books. She enjoyed listening to Tony Bennett and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. 

Mary Leslie was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Aaron) and their children Sienna (6) and Henrik (3); her brother Spencer; and her cousin Diana. 

At her request, in her final wishes, there will be no memorial service or funeral by her immediate family. The family welcomes prayers and loving memories in celebration of her life.
