Mary Lou Garza Obituary
Mary Lou (Lopez) Garza, 63, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on April 28, 2025, at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on November 15, 1961, in Haskell County, Texas to San Ysidra (Valdez) Lopez and Primitivo Lopez.
She is survived by two daughters, Ashia Garza and significant other, Matthew San Miguel of San Antonio and Christie Horton and significant other, Jeremy Whitehead; three sons, Noel Guzman and significant other, Sonya Rodriguez, of Uvalde, Stephen Howard and Michael Martinez and significant other, Corina Camacho all of Uvalde; three sisters, Rosemary Trevino of Devine, Lupe Gutierrez of Uvalde and Jessica Lopez of Junction; grandchildren, Cheyanne Gomez, Joey Gomez, Iyana Velasquez, Marissa Guzman, Christina Guzman, Layla Guzman, Jaxson Gonzales, Courtney Sances, John Van Meter, Michael Martinez, Jr., Adan Carin Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, Isaias Martinez, Cori Contreras, Cyra Contreras, Jaden Gomez, Jayce Gomez, A’treyu Gomez, Zaylani Gomez, and Mhlani Jade Garcia.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rodolfo Lopez.
