Mary O Maddox

Mary Tucker Maddox, 78, of Charleston, WV, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Hospice care, Titusville, Florida.

Mary was born at St. Frances Hospital, Charleston, WV

to Joseph and Masel Tucker on May 28, 1947. She graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School in Charleston, WV. She married George William Maddox Jr. on January 23, 1965, in Charleston WV. She worked as an administrator for Maranatha Baptist Church in Sissonville, WV, WVU Medical Center in Charleston, WV, Chiropractor Dr. Ostoski in Titusville, FL as well as retired from the Brevard County Sheriff Department, Brevard County, FL.

She was a valued member and involved in her church, Faith Baptist, Titusville, Florida.

Mary is preceded in death by her brother, Buddy, father, Joseph, her mother, Masel Cleo (Jane), and her sister, Judy Fox.

Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years, her son, George William Maddox III, her daughter, Sheri Aileen Koerner (Danny), her grandson, Jesse Tyler Maddox, her great-granddaughter, Laurel Jane Maddox, her niece, Elaina June Atkinson, and her great-nephews, Theo and Nate, from Hurricane, WV.

Funeral services are not scheduled at this time.
