Mary Ange Mannon

Mary Ange Mannon, 87, of Manchester, died October 27, 2014 at the Ridgewood Healthcare Center in Bedford. Mrs Mannon was born in Nashua, November 24, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Lea (Caron) Lamontagne. She attended local schools and has lived in Manchester since 1949. Mary was a communicant of St. Raphael Church where she was active with the Food Pantry. She also volunteered at CMC and the VA hospitals. She was a member of Happy Hearts Ladies of St. Anne, the east and west side senior centers, AARP, and the CWV Auxillary. Mrs. Mannon was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Mannon Sr. in 1975, 3 children: Peter, Paul and Joseph, 2 grandsons: David and Robert, 3 sisters: Eleanor, Luciene, and Cecile. Members of her family include 2 sons: Robert E. Mannon Jr. and his wife Joan, Michael J. Mannon and his wife Diane, all of Manchester, 6 daughters: Sheila Melanson and her companion Ron Furgal of Bedford, Brenda Wilcox, Manchester, Barbara Chartier and her husband Andy of Concord, Donna Fairchild and her husband Stanley of Manchester, Patty Driscoll and her husband James of Concord, Jenny Stephen and her husband John of Manchester, 12 grandchildren, 6 great children, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St., corner of Beech St. from 6 to 8p.m. The funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Everyone please meet at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Raphael Bereavement Committee, 103 Walker St., Manchester, NH 03102.
