Mary A. (Stagliola) Marino passed away peacefully at age 93 on November 8, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 3, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts to Domenic and Antonette (Bravo) Stagliola. She was a devoted wife to her late husband of 53 years, Louis A. Marino.
She dedicated her life to her family, always making sure there was a listening ear, a warm embrace, and a home filled with love and support. Some of her greatest joys included cooking, shopping and looking glamorous, and spending time with her treasured family. She enjoyed watching movies and following the lives of the stars in them. She loved to sing and was always the first out on the dance floor. She is remembered for making the best cakes and chicken soup. During her life, she battled and survived breast cancer.
During her final years, she lived at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere, Massachusetts where she was president of the Resident Council meetings. She loved to participate in the various activities and entertainment offered by the center.
She is survived by her four children: Peter Marino and his wife, Susan of Everett, Massachusetts, Rosanne Foote and her husband, Joseph of York, Maine, Anne Marie Marino of Exeter, New Hampshire, and Louis Marino and his wife, Joanna, of Swampscott, Massachusetts. She is also cherished by her seven grandchildren: Nicole Way (Jeff), Amanda Bell (Corey), Michael Marino, Joseph Foote Jr. (Mackenzie), Lauryn Marino Eaton (Nikki), Brody Marino, and Beau Marino. She will also be missed by her three great-grandchildren: Zoe and Everett Bell, and Noelle Way. She is also survived by her sister, Eleanor Kennedy of Peterborough, New Hampshire, and a brother, Domenic Stagliola of Nashua, New Hampshire.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, and her brother, Joseph Stagliola.
