Memorial Service: Saturday, October 29 10:30 AM Harvey Hill at Dix Park 693 Palmer Dr. Raleigh, NC 27603 ?Mary Marshall was born on October 24, 1987, in Pensacola, Florida to Tom and Ginny Marshall, and her older sister, Meaghan, where she spent her early years. In 1996, she moved with her family to Clayton, North Carolina where she completed her education, graduating from Clayton High School. She enlisted in the United States Navy and, after completing boot camp, was stationed in Lemore, California. She wanted to see the world and get an education. She was assigned to a carrier, traveled to Japan, and temporarily stationed there. The ship traveled around Southeast Asia. She was discharged and came home to go to school. Her dream was to own her own bakery so she went to Wake Tech and graduated from their culinary arts program. ?She met the love of her life, Rob, during the quarantine for COVID in 2020 and for a long time referred to him as her "COVID boyfriend." When they were finally able to meet in person, she knew he was "the one." ?She was excited about getting married on October 29 and starting that new life together with Rob and his daughter, Bridgete, and son Toby. She will be missed by so many people who loved her. One thing we will all miss is her infectious smile and her one-of-a-kind laugh. Loa She is survived by her parents Tom and Ginny Marshall of Clayton, NC., one sister Meaghan McCrickard (Brett Williams) of Mebane, NC., her paternal grandmother Gloria Marshall of Neptune, NC., two nieces Avery and Charlotte of Mebane, NC., and her fiancé Robert Steele of the home.
