Of Cheektowaga, entered into rest January 8, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Thomas A. Matre; devoted mother of Marietta (Michael) Andrew, Barry (Ruth) Matre and Deborah Weiler (Garry Blew); cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Mark) Rutecki, Brian (Ashley) Matre, Douglas (Amber) Matre, Catherine (Chris Brooks) Matre, Cody (Allison) Weiler and Rory (Julie) Weiler; adored great-grandmother of Trey, Weston, Mason, Grace, Liam, Weston, Levi and Elliott; daughter of the late George and Mary Bomaster; dear sister of the late Lillian (late Ormal) Blauser, late Wilda (late Karl) Janish, late Betty (late George) Newbill and the late George Jr. (late Alberta) Bomaster; also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel) 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Monday (January 12) from 1-5PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Tuesday morning at 11:30AM. Please assemble at Church. A private interment will be held at McKean Memorial Park in Lewis Run, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Katherine's name to Hospice Foundation.
