On Sunday, February 8, 2026, Mary Kathryn Small McAnn was called home to be with her Lord and Savior.
Mary Kathryn was a true lady in every sense of the word. Her unwavering devotion, for both God and family, shone brightly throughout her 94 years. As a long-standing Sunday School teacher, she delighted in sharing His Word with children and adults alike. Indeed, Mary Kathryn’s legacy stands as a testament to a life well lived.
She is greatly loved and missed by her husband of 72 years, Charles Ray McAnn; and three children, Kathy McAnn, Pam McAnn Livingston and Billy Charles McAnn & wife, Teri. Also left to cherish her memory are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mary Kathryn joins her parents, Loyd & Vivi Small, in Heaven. Also rejoicing in her homecoming is a sister, Betty Small Rhodes --- three brothers, Harold, Kenneth and Bob Small --- grandson, Christopher Michael Livingston and son-in-law, Michael R. Livingston.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who has prayed, loved, called, visited, offered words of encouragement, brought food, sent cards and so much more. Thanks also to the Willis Knighton Hospice team; for their exceptional tender loving care was definitely a steadfast beacon of hope and grace.
A brief graveside memorial service will be held at the Haughton Cemetery on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., wherein we will gather to honor Mary Kathryn Small McAnn’s memory and bask in the promise of everlasting life.
We love you Mama! See ya’ soon!
Well done, good and faithful servant. --- Matthew 25:23
