She was born in Paulding, OH on April 30, 1956 to Ralph and Waneta (Sierer) Kochel.
On December 30, 1971, she married the love of her life, Sidney McMillan. Together they raised 3 children, Diana Corwin, Cory McMillan, and Beckie (Rich) Bennett. She had 10 grandchildren: Dreama Poston, Mary (Tyler) Adkins, Desiree (Zach) Clark, Victoria Mitchell, Basillia (Shane) Juntila, Sidney (Nicholas) Crawford, JoEllyn (Braxton) Oberg, Coryn Bennett, Colton (Haley) Bennett, and Lexie (Brandon) Renner; 10 great grandchildren: Rowan, Becca, Chloe, Ben, Hailey, Leo, Ryner, Charlotte, Lorelei, Emelia, and was excited for Penelope Lou who is expected in May.
Mary was an LPN and found passion in Pediatric Home Care. She was also a certified clown, named Dolly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Edna Bernath and Wanda Kochel, her son, Cory McMillan, and great grandson Leo.
Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, OH. There will be visitation prior to the service from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Den Herder Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
