Born on March 15, 1928, in Cumberland, Maryland, to the late Merv and Lucy Kauffman, Mary Lou lived a life filled with love, laughter, and family.
She was a devoted and loving mother of seven, grandmother to sixteen, and great-grandmother to thirty. An excellent seamstress, she was admired for her creativity and skill, and she loved playing cards and bingo. Most of all, she cherished time with her large family, bringing laughter and joy with her goofy, playful spirit that made every gathering brighter.
Mary Lou was married for 53 wonderful years to her late husband, Harry Molinari. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Jack Kauffman, Clara Beavers, and Virginia Lee Sell, her daughter-in-law Teri Molinari, and her son-in-law Wendell Dean.
She is survived by her seven children: Rosalie (Andy) Villa, Michael (Lisa) Molinari, Mary Dean, Joan Wallace, June (Michael) King, Rhonda (Jeffrey) Hanbury, and Roxanne (Aleco) Kavounis; along with her many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Raymond's Funeral Home in La Plata, Maryland, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a repass immediately following at the Moose Lodge in White Plains, Maryland.
Mary Lou's warmth, humor, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
