Mary Louise Moore of Manassas, VA died on May 6, 2008 at Prince William Hospital. She was born on February 4, 1940 in Wise County, VA to the late Cecil and Hattie Chester Moore. She attended Warrenton Assembly of God Church. After retirement as a CNA she volunteered at Shadow Lawn in Warrenton, VA. Mary enjoyed sewing and working crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends and always had a smile for everyone. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Moore, a sister, Lois Faye Moore and her grandparents William and Adeline Mullins Moore and Amon and Sarah Chester. She is survived by her children, Virgie Woodward of Strasburg, VA, Charles Payne of Bealeton, VA, Emma Payne, Randy Payne, Jr. and Hattie Payne all of Manassas, VA. Mary was also survived by her brothers, Lonnie Moore of Catlett, VA, Bobby Moore of Manassas, VA, Joel Moore of Waynesboro, VA, Joseph Moore of Friendswood, TX, David Moore of Spotsylvania, VA and her sisters, Faye Heflin of Madison, VA, Georgia Taylor of Jeffersonton, VA, Alphie Arnold of Boston, VA, Ruby Pruitt of Nokesville, VA, a granddaughter, Brenda Lee Payne of Manassas, VA and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 7 to 9pm at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 10:30am at Warrenton Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Midland, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Moser Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 186, Warrenton, VA 20188 for funeral expenses.
