Mary was born on April 15, 1940 in Bellingham, Washington to Marcus Ard and Margaret Weeks. She passed from
this life on October 29, 2025, at her residence in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by family.
She will be reunited in Heaven with her grandparents Louis and Mary Alice Weeks, parents Marcus and Margret
Weeks, husband Henry Matthews, long-time companion Floyd Stewart, sister Lois Pendall, sons William Martin
"Marty" Matthews and Ricky Stewart. Along with many other loved ones.
She is loved and remembered by her children Theresa Matthews, Christina Luna, Valerie (Otis) Parks, Judy Huges,
Floyd (Becky) Stewart Jr, sister Rose Douglas, 15 grandchildren as well as many other loving family members and
friends.
Visitation will be held at Brookehill Funeral Home 711 S E Military Drive, San Antonio, TX 78214 from 4:00 P.M. to
8:00 P.M. on Friday November 7th. A funeral service will be held in her honor on Saturday November 8th at 10:00
A.M. at Brookehill Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park 8235 Mission Road, San Antonio, TX
78214.
