Mary Lou Mulder, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home, on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in Watsonville, California.
Mary Lou Mulder was born on November 13, 1956, in East Chicago, IN. Mary Lou was a devoted Christian and an active member of the Deaf Ministries of First Baptist Church of Hammond (Hammond, IN) and Plainfield Baptist Church (Grand Rapids, MI).
Mary Lou will be remembered most for her kind and sweet personality. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary Lou had many friends within the Deaf Community, who lived throughout the country, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Mary Lou is preceded in death by her late husbands, C. Wayne Biddle (1991), and Kevin Lee Mulder (2021); father-in-law, Ernest Mulder; father, James E. Blackwell Sr.; mother, Willie Ruth Blackwell; and brother, John Scott Blackwell.
Mary Lou is survived by her children, Jeremiah (Nicole) Biddle and Marylin (Scott) Winslow, her grandchildren, Prosper and Triumph, her brother, James E. (Laura) Blackwell Jr., as well as her mother-in-law, Janet Mulder, her brother-in-law, Keith (Cathy) Mulder, and her sister-in-law, Yvonne Mulder.
Mary Lou will be laid to rest at Georgetown Township Cemetery, in Hudsonville, MI, next to her loving husband Kevin Lee Mulder.
