Mary Owens Obituary
Mary graduated from Tri County High School in Percy, Illinois, and later attended beauty school in Arkansas. She eventually made her home in Springfield, Missouri, where she worked at the Assemblies of God headquarters. It was there that she met the love of her life, Benny, with whom she shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised one daughter and created a life full of adventure, especially enjoying traveling and skiing side by side.
Mary had a true passion for puzzles of all kinds and could often be found working on one with quiet joy and determination. She was known for her sweet spirit, her kindness, and the deep faith that guided her daily life. As she often proclaimed, "Jesus was her Savior."
Mary is survived by her husband Benny Owens, daughter Tammy (Greg) Volland, two grand daughters Dayna Volland and Kymberly (Houston) Harness, two great-grandsons Conor and Landon, and two brothers Jerry (Donna) Goodrich and Robert Goodrich.
Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents, two sisters Bonnie Johnson and Mona Freeman and one brother Neil Goodrich.

Mary and I had many memories working side by side at Western Printing. I could share anything with her and knew I was in her prayers. She will be greatly missed! My prayers are with her family.
