I truly feel like we have lost a very special person. Mary Anne let John and I stay with her for almost 6 months before moving to Kentucky. We sold the house and Mary Anne opened her heart and her home. We shared many stories about LL Bean and she really had a good time when my grandson would come to visit. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed relaxing when the work was done. I feel like I should be planting a forest instead of just a tree in her memory. There is an empty hole in my heart with her gone. Who will I eat Thai food with when I get back home to visit? She will certainly be missed by all those whom she touched with her generosity. Please rest in peace my friend.

Mary Anne was a great friend to me. She accepted me unconditionally. Her acts of service to all is how she will be remembered and honored. Mary Anne´s integrity was why I trusted her implicitly.
As she said to me many times,
See ya later, girlfriend!

Mary Ann was a beacon of light. She always wore a smile, and was so thoughtful. I truly enjoyed the years I worked with her at LL Bean. Heaven gained an angel. God´s blessings to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

We grew up calling her Mapi, she was one of my mom´s closest friends. She was a large part of my childhood and I have so many memories of making masks, going to the camp, visiting Mt. Washington, and her taking me to my first concert. Love you Mapi
